Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is extremely common to occur after prostate surgery; nearly 90% of men experience it. In many cases, continence will return, but in others, it will continue to be an ongoing problem.
While loss of bladder control after prostate surgery can have a significant impact on quality of life, men should feel encouraged by the increasing number of treatment and management options available.
