Share Your Voice On Bladder Health Issues

The National Association For Continence partners with many different entities to conduct research around various bladder and bowel health issues. Our goal is always to learn more about the struggles that people face with these conditions so that we can develop new resources that can help them.

Below are our current opportunities available. Please click the links to learn more, or let us know if you have any questions by emailing memberservices@nafc.org.

Participate In An Advisory Panel About Sacral Nerve Stimulation

NAFC is working with the FDA to create an advisory panel of women who have used or are currently using Sacral Nerve Stimulation (SNS) or Sacral neuromodulation (SNM) to treat symptoms of Overactive Bladder. This is a remote opportunity – you do not have to travel to be a part of the panel.

Get Paid To Join An Advisory Panel About Incontinence

NAFC is looking to recruit 4 patients to join an interdisciplinary advisory board as part of a research project at the University of California, San Diego. Essentially, the research is designed to investigate different ways to improve the management of urinary incontinence at the primary care level. The research involves primary care offices from across the county. We are recruiting patients to provide input.

For their time and effort, candidates will be paid $100 per meeting – a 1 hr Zoom advisory board meeting held every 6 months.

Qualifications

  • Adult women (35-64)
  • Diagnosed and treated for urge, stress, or mixed incontinence.
  • Treatment does not have to have been successful
  • Spanish language a plus

Please email memberservices@nafc.org for more information or if you would like to participate in this worthwhile investigation.
