Looking for home remedies for UTIs? You’ve come to the right place! While urinary tract infection medication, particularly antibiotics, are the faster course of action, there are things you can do to treat those uncomfortable UTI symptoms. Read below to learn about urinary tract infection home remedies and how to get rid of that burning urine feeling for good! (And prevent them from happening in the first place!)
NAFC recently conducted a survey that asked people how they were dealing with urological conditions during the pandemic. A surprising finding was that many of you reported an increase in urinary tract infections. While we don’t know why more frequent UTIs are happening – stress, a decrease in personal grooming, or poor diet choices may all be culprits – we do realize that urinary tract infections can be annoying, painful, and can cause an increase in incontinence or bladder leaks. And when they strike, you’re likely wondering how to get rid of a UTI fast!
What Are UTI Infections?
Urinary tract infections are caused by foreign bacteria entering into the urine tract, usually from the bowel, and they can happen to both men and women. In fact, about 60% of women and 12% of men will have at least one UTI in their lifetime.
If you’ve ever had one, you will recognize the symptoms immediately: burning urine sensations when you pee, cramping, frequent trips to the bathroom, strong-smelling pee that may appear cloudy or dark, and a feeling of not quite being able to empty your bladder are all hallmark symptoms of UTIs.
UTIs are also annoying and frustrating, especially if they happen to you often. And, while the standard treatment for a UTI is pretty commonplace (an antibiotic usually clears it up in a few days), an in-person visit with your doctor to get that diagnosis and antibiotic prescription may not exactly be high on your list of things to do right now.

Getting Rid Of A UTI From Home
While antibiotics are the fastest and most recommended way to treat urinary tract infections, they sometimes don’t work. You may also be wary of taking an antibiotic due to certain risks that accompany that treatment. In that case, a UTI home remedy may be the most appealing option.
Luckily, there are some great home remedies for urine infections you can try to treat the condition. Below are some of the best natural UTI home remedies you can try.
BEST NATURAL HOME REMEDIES FOR UTIS
If you want to try a uti treatment at home, it may be as easy as turning on your faucet or checking your vitamin cabinet. Keep reading for tips on how to get rid of a UTI quickly with some of these holistic treatments for UTIs. (Note – these UTI treatments work for men as well as women!)
Drink Lots Of Water
Drinking lots of water, and emptying your bladder when you need to, will help you flush harmful bacteria from your system. You may be hesitant to drink water due to the burning sensation you may have when peeing, but trust us on this – getting in your recommended 8 glasses a day will do you a world of good.
You can also incorporate water-based foods – watermelon, oranges, lettuce, soups and broths are all great examples of foods that have high water content.
This is one of our favorite home remedies for UTIs and one of the best ways to get rid of a UTI fast.
Be sure to drink water throughout the day – if you wait until you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated. (Try our tips for drinking more water here.)
Try Drinking Some Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
Drinking cranberry juice is probably one of the most popular home remedies for UTIs. While the research is a bit unclear, cranberries have been used as a prevention of UTI for generations. Studies have shown that cranberries actually make it harder for the bacteria that cause UTIs to stick to the urinary tract walls.
So, while not really a remedy, if you frequently get UTIs, it might be worth drinking a couple of glasses of unsweetened cranberry juice, or snacking on the actual fruit (whole or dried). (Note: the “unsweetened” is key here – consuming juices with added sugars may only make your urinary tract infection worse.)
Don't "Hold It"
Perhaps the best UTI home remedy is preventing them from starting in the first place. We all get busy, but holding off going to the bathroom gives any bacteria that may already be in your bladder the chance to grow and multiply, potentially resulting in infection (or keeping one that you already have alive and well). Drink lots of water and when you have to go, go.
Try Taking A Probiotic
Introducing a probiotic to your system is a great home remedy for UTIs as it may help to replenish the naturally occurring, healthy bacteria that live in the gut. It is thought that probiotics may prevent harmful bacteria from attaching to the urinary tract cells, and may also lower the urine Ph, making it less hospitable to harmful bacteria.
And, if you have taken an antibiotic to treat a UTI, taking a probiotic is a great way to build up the healthy bacteria that may have been killed during your course of treatment. Probiotics are found in supplement form (often a capsule), or they occur naturally in some types of food, including certain yogurts, kombucha, or kefir.
Eat Garlic
It turns out that garlic doesn’t just ward off vampires. A recent study showed that garlic extract may be effective in reducing the bacteria that cause UTIs.
Add Vitamin C To Your Diet
Not only does vitamin C help strengthen your immune system, but it may also acidify your urine, which limits the growth of some bacteria and may prevent urinary tract infections from occurring. Just be careful of eating too many acidic foods when you have a UTI, as they can potentially irritate your bladder, which may only make your UTI symptoms worse. This is a great home remedy for UTIs and one that can benefit your whole body.
Avoid Bladder Irritating Foods When You Have A UTI
Certain foods are known bladder irritants – citrus or very acidic foods, artificial sweeteners, caffeine, alcohol – these can all irritate the bladder, leading to bladder leaks. And, if you currently have a UTI, they may affect you even more. Try to watch out for these common bladder irritants to prevent further irritation to your bladder and UTI.
Wipe From Front To Back
This one is more about prevention. Because many UTIs develop from the spread of bacteria from the rectum, it’s important to pay attention to how you wipe both after a bowel movement and after urinating. Always wipe from front to back to avoid spreading bacteria to the urethra, and onto the urinary tract.
Pee After Sex
Another good prevention measure – be sure to pee after you’ve had sexual intercourse to wash away any harmful bacteria and prevent it from spreading, which can lead to painful urinary tract infections.
Try D-mannose
D-mannose is a sugar-related compound often used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs), particularly those caused by E. coli bacteria. It works by interfering with the adhesion of E. coli to the urinary tract walls. The bacteria typically bind to D-mannose instead of the urinary tract cells, allowing them to be flushed out during urination. This mechanism helps prevent the establishment of an infection and is also utilized as a preventive measure for individuals prone to recurrent UTIs.
You can typically find D-Mannose in the vitamin aisle of your grocery store of pharmacy. Similar to cranberry juice, D-Mannose has needs a bit more research to conclusively say it will cure your UTIs, but it’s worth a shot!
Give Vaginal Estrogen a try
Just when you thought you knew all the symptoms of menopause, we’re going to throw you another one.
Following the onset of menopause, the vulvar skin undergoes a thinning process, accompanied by an elevation in the vaginal pH, transitioning towards a more neutral state. This can make menopausal women much more susceptible to bladder infections.
Applying vaginal estrogen can counteract these changes, and at the same time, decrease the likelihood of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Be Mindful Of Your Birth Control
Using spermicides, diaphragms, and condoms with spermicides can increase the likelihood of experiencing more urinary tract infections (UTIs) for women. Consider alternate methods of birth control if you use any of these options and experience frequent UTIs.
HOW TO EASE THE PAIN OF A UTI
Let’s face it – UTIs can be incredibly painful, and is probably one of the biggest reasons you’re looking for home treatments in the first place – you want to know how to cure a UTI FAST.
If you’re experiencing pain due to a urinary tract infection, the following may help ease it until you’re able to treat and get rid of the UTI:
WEAR LOOSE CLOTHING
Your goal here is to prevent moisture from accumulating in the pelvic region, which could make your infection worse. Wearing loose clothing, preferably made from cotton or other natural materials will help keep moisture at bay and will help you feel more comfortable.
APPLY HEAT
Use a heating pad, a warm washcloth, or a hot water bottle to apply heat to your bladder or pelvic area if you’re feeling pain or discomfort there from your UTI. You may also wish to take a warm bath to help relieve any pain and to help your muscles relax.
TAKE AN OTC PAIN RELIEVER
Over-the-counter pain medications can temporarily relieve pain caused by a UTI. Use caution here, and always speak with a doctor first, as some UTIs can turn into kidney infections. In these cases, patients should avoid taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which could make the infection worse.
WHEN TO SEE A DOCTOR FOR YOUR UTI
If your symptoms persist beyond a few days with no sign of improvement, or if your infection keeps recurring, it’s best to see a doctor. While many home remedies may ease symptoms, if they persist your doctor will be able to determine the cause and prescribe a course of antibiotics that should help take care of your UTI right away and prevent it from leading to a worsening condition or infection.
Have you tried any of the above natural remedies for UTIs, or other home treatments to treat your urinary tract infection? Tell us about them in the comments below!

I had 3 x UTIs in 3 months in 2012 all cured by meds. GP said it was a normal side effect of menopause! I wasn’t prepared to accept that so tried “an old midwives trick” of taking Vit C supplements. Have taken 2 or 3 Vit C tabs every day since and no UTIs since 2012. Firmly believe in this
My comment is for David – Hello David, regarding your comment from Sept 2023, I also have both, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis in addition to a few other autoimmune problems. I’m on Tremfya now and it’s working pretty well, beggers can’t be choosers, right? Enbril was another one that worked well for me for a really long time approx 8 yrs until it stopped working cold turkey. Also, do you use all natural no dyes laundry detergent and bath / shower soap? even something like that will affect how psoriasis is as well as sweating…. sweating is not helpful.

I have recurring UTI. Disodium Hydrogen Citrate syrup works for me. It is an over the counter medicine and you can take one full measuring top (comes with the bottle) + diluted in one glass of water. It works fast and you can keep drinking water until better. Hope this helps
Palo azure tea helps me
Mild pain , needing to pee often , on antibiotics
What should I do to relieve pain.
Look at information on the Interstitial Cystitis Association website. The information about foods to avoid that irritate the bladder and information about some natural supplemental products that are recommended is helpful. Read about which foods are acidic and which are alkaline. Avoid ANY TYPE OF ARTICIAL SWEETENER IN ANYTHING. It is like an acid bomb to the bladder. D-Mannose is helpful.
Please, if you have a UTI that is painful, recurring, etc. YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR. I had recurring UTIs that were painful. I ignored seeing a doctor and ended up in the hospital with SEPSIS (blood poisoning) in my kidneys and had to be admitted for a couple days on an antibiotic IV. This is a very real concern with UTIs, especially those that recur frequently. No home remedy will save you from it, so please stay vigilant and be sure you are seeing a doctor.
Drinking a lot of water is one of the most helpful home remedies for a healthy body. We can also use turmeric. It is a powerful ingredient that helps people with UTIs.
I am only not killing myself because I am Christian and believe suicide is a sin! I survived ovarian cancer and a year and a half of chemo only to live for the hell on earth of frequent UTIs. I kiddingly say I know where every bathroom at every store is in town and that I have a “half an hour bladder”! All jokes aside, I have yet another UTI and I am so annoyed I can’t even think straight! I am going to try some of these home remedies. After all, what have I got to lose?? It’s Saturday night and I am sure not going to the ED unless I absolutely must. I gotta try to get better on my own or I guess I go groveling to the doctor on Monday!
I Think Stress plays a role

You can use potassium permangenate.beleive me it helps within 4 to 5 sessions of hot tub water with spoonful of solution.
I started getting UTIs as I got older and I was introduced to coconut oil. I use coconut oil on so many things now….from exzema to my dog’s itchy skin hot patches. Anytime I feel a UTI coming on, I simply rub the coconut oil into my urethra and it has immediate results!
Im experiencing UTI no and i don’t know what to do..im new to this please assist me im in alot of pain right now
Paddi Dover, how much backing soda to water is needed?
Ya no se q tomar provecho de todo y sigo con la infección urinaria desde antibióticos a todo lo natural y se me calma un rato y me vuelve
I went to Super Supplements years ago and an employee, that happened to be a student from Bastyr University, told me about D-Mannose. The student explained to me that D-Mannose was an attractive carbohydrate molecule that the e-coli bacteria would want to attach to, instead of the person’s epithelial tissue, and is then flushed out of the body. If the e-coli attaches to the epithelial tissue and builds up a patient may be stuck with reoccurring UTI’s. The problem with a regular provider, from mainstream medicine, is that they will prescribe antibiotics for reoccurring UTIs. The patient will be stuck with all their good bacteria being killed off along with the bad bacteria. I have heard that it can take months to restore good bacteria back in your system. If a person is constantly taking antibiotics do you think it is healthy? I don’t, I think it weakens the patient and sets them up for poor health.
I purchased D-Mannose and had my mother start taking a scoop of the flavorless carbohydrate with water daily. My mother has not had a UTI since taking D-Mannose and she is a healthy 97 year old. My mother is so grateful that we discovered D-Mannose she takes it daily without fail and turns 98 in October!
Drinking baking soda water works for me and evidently for those I’ve told about it.
Years ago, whilst living with a roommate, I had a very bad bladder infection. I had taken AZO (which makes me so sick on my stomach still to this day). My elderly roommate’s mother had stopped by and I’d told her what was going on. She told me to go sit on the toilet and she was going to bring me something that would clear it right up after a few pee’s. She brought a tall glass of water with baking soda in it (stronger the better) and a tall glass of cranberry juice to chase it. I did this twice with the second chaser being just mineral water. I sat on the toilet peeing until I was all peed out lol Once done, the bladder infection was gone along with the urge to urinate, the pain, etc. I swear by it! I had woken up with a bladder infection this morning and started the regimen about an hour ago and I’m already feeling better! I asked my roommate’s mom why isn’t this home remedy told if it actually works. She said, firstly big pharma doesn’t want it known and secondly doctors brush it off as an “old wives tell” No matter which …. IT WORKS!!
Hi y’all.
Get cultured foods in your body. Saurkraut, kimchi, kefir, kombucha, kefir water. With every meal have a cultured food. Go low and slow to start. Stay away from high oxalate foods!! Read up to understand. I don’t take probiotic in pill form any more because i get my probiotics from cultured foods. Donna Schwenk with culturedfoodlife.com has alot of info. and testimonies. Read Read Read about oxalates, rule out! High oxalate foods to name a few…..Kiwi, spinach, all potatoes, almonds, beans, soy beans, tempe, the list is huge. The goal is to not eat more then 50mg of oxalate foods a day.
Had urinary problems all my life and more since menopause. Was tired of one right after enough and some antibiotics didn’t work for me anymore…..then I discovered AZO Urinary Tract Defense. Antibacterial protection. Works well and works fast. They have other products that work for pain if you need as well. The AZO turns to formaldehyde once it hits your bladder (and only in your bladder). Kills the bacteria. Even children can take it. You buy it at Walmart in the USA in the ladies hygiene section. The urinary tract defense is not available in Canada yet but all their other products are available in Walmart’s across Canada. Not sure about other countries. Game changer for me. Couple of days on this med and the uti disappears. Just sharing what a lifetime of UTIs has taught me. Hope it will help some of you!
@Nancy Coy–don’t know how to contact you. Can you please post the name of the test?
And a note to all–my UTI recurs all the time, 4 years for me (“only”), and now I am 64yo. But antibiotics can cause yeast overgrowth and not good to take regularly for so many reasons. I have been able to “manage” the UTI with diet, and I think exercise helps. So now if I eat no sugar of any kind, no honey, no alcohol, and no wheat, corn, and limit the amount of citrus and super-sweet fruit–all the standard inflammatory foods–if I avoid them, I am able to keep the UTI at bay. (My go-to for occasional sweetener is dried date powder.) It’s hard, but the pain is harder to have. And I think a probiotic every day helps. This approach also helps other chronic conditions I have–lung congestion and residual pain where I had shingles (head, face, mouth and sinus.) I should drink more water(!)
Burning when peeing, no odor, but cloudy pink tinged pee. 69 year old female.
I tried the vinegar solution but that upset my stomach. Stuck on the toilet with plenty of drinks next to me. Took Vit C. Ate some cranberries. Can’t get out to get much else. Could sleep last night because I was up every 20 mins.
I found it comforting to read how many others are suffering recurrent utis like me but sadly conclude that there is no cure at all …just antibiotic after antibiotic which is depressing conclusion
Folks, it’s almost 4am and I’m up because I feel a UTI coming on. Ugg! I have been dealing with them my entire life. I am now 57. The issue w/ UTI’s is, we often treat one infection but there can be a few organisms growing. Providers often treat one infection without knowing the others exist so the cycle repeats. I found this out when I started working for a specialty lab that has a test specifically for UTI. Last October, I went to see my personal doctor. I told him I had another UTI. He checked my urine and said it was clear. I asked him to PLEASE order this specific test for me, he reluctantly agreed. The test is covered by all insurances. 24-hours later, after the lab tested “my clear” urine, come to find out I had not one but two infections!
The test defines the antibodies you are resistant to as well as the ones that will rid the infection(s). If you are prone to fungus (yeast) it checks for that too.. Sometimes it can take 2-3 tests to get them under control. I’m calling my doctor in the morning and repeating the test. A lot of men and women are finding that this is a great long-term solution. If you are interested in learning more please feel free to reach out to me. I am trying to figure out the best way to do that without posting my personal information here for spammers to get a hold of.
I am prone to UTIs due to the frequent need to use disposable catheters, thanks to a very enlarged prostate, and I can always tell when I get one by the smell of my urine. It takes on a sulphuric odor and becomes cloudy. I have used cranberry and garlic in the past with some success, and I take a turmeric/ginger liqui-gel every morning to fight inflammation. It is good to know that they also help with UTIs. I am also thankful for the info about avoiding caffeine and acidic foods, and am going to pick up some probiotics.
Hope y’all have a great 2024 with fewer UTIs!
I am 67 years old and had surgery in August for a prolapsed bladder. In October I got my very first bladder infection. It was so painful. Took 2 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of it. I now do probiotics daily (1 billion active cultures) and at times I do the 500 mg cranberry gummies (2) besides my regular multivitamin, tart cherry, vitamin D3. I do have 2 cups of coffee in the morning but other than that I drink water all day. I feel like I have another bladder infection coming on. So after reading this I plan on drinking lotssss of water for the next couple of day as I think the antibiotics really messed with my stomach. My biggest problem is they say do probiotics and the cranberry pill (I am a controlled diabetic) but no one tells you how much. I am thinking 1 billion Probiotic and 500 mg cranberry is not enough. How do I find out how much to take? Also going to try the Vitamin C but there is different mg’s of this also.
I noticed when I urinate blood follows in each time
I ran a test n saw it was uti I was given ciprofloxacin tablets, I took it for 13days the blood n pain stopped but 2 days after the drugs is finished I started having same pain when peeing and blood in my urine again
Please what do I do
I have used hone remedies listed here, the help. I also increase turmeric and ginger drinks – added to cranberry juice or as hot herbal teas – and that seems to be what helps the most. Also eat foods high in garlic, turmeric, and ginger. Tofu marinated in that combo is delicious!
UTI diagnosed after urine retention. Cathing followed but the antibiotic was later prescribed due to infection reported in culture.
Antibiotic improved urine flow without cathing but the tip aches and/or tingles / burns. Pain is not constant. What is the recommended test and remedy ?
Having pain after i pee
I’m staying w my 96 yr old Dad. He only had 2 bladder infections for the first 95 yrs of his life, but since about March he has had 7 of them. He’s trying to get all the way over one now and he takes a kind of choloidle silver that is helping. He also takes a lot of other supplements and I’m sure some of them are helping with the infection, too. He needs 4,000 mg of vitamin C, but hasn’t started taking that much yet. I take more than that every day and have rarely had a bladder infection. My dad is going to have to do a combination of things to keep the UTI’s from coming back, I believe. Recently I started using Young living essential oils for other things and they really helped me. I found out some of the oils that could help my Dad with his infection and it’s not exhaustive but here’s a list: Lemongrass, Ginger, Panaway (a blend of oils), Raven (blend), Thieves (blend), and Citrus Fresh (blend). Some of the oils are expensive but they might be worth it to you. If you get the ones that say Vitality after the name, like Ginger Vitality, I think most of them can be ingested by putting some drops into an empty capsule. I would also consider the need to live right, which includes empathizing with and serving others. I believe by doing those things, people get more help from heaven than they would if they thought of themselves too much. I can tell a difference when I’m not right with God.
Good morning my wife had urine pain and just a week , please what home remedies can we do thanks
I suffer from psoriasis & psoriatic arthritis. The main manifestation of my psoriasis is genital. For over five (5) decades it manifested on my scrotum & anus. Approximately two (2) years ago it moved ‘internal’ to my urethra & rectum. Urinating is pain in the extreme 15/10. My Dr put me on pain management meds – Morphine based. After nearly twelve (12) months they started to fail in terms of pain levels. Currently on synthetic opioids.
I’m also seeing a Rheumatologist, as they are the only ones allowed to prescribe Biologics. Tried Simponi, Humira & currently Taltz. No change in any of my psoriasis or PsA.
Hi I need advice for my son he is only 11 years old and he has blood in his urine but doctors said there is no infection or anything. they cheeked ultra sound was normal and blood test was normal so pls give me advice wht is the reason still he has blood in his urine.

Hello I have some pain when urinating but it’s not as bad now. This is happening very recently so I have lots of question. I am 60 years old this year & I have a problem drinking liquids mostly not remembering to. However I am drinking as much as I can. I’m not some1 that goes to the doctors often as I don’t generally get sick often. I don’t suffer any chronic ailments etc. I try my very best to keep healthy so I eat the right foods & exercise when I can. I was recently very very sick with the flu for 3 weeks after 15 years. However I don’t know if the meds caused the uti & I’m also on collagen( this when I noticed the problem I’m having. I have always taken care of my body. I smoked but since stopped for just over a year before this problem, I don’t drink alcohol nor do I drink fizzy drinks at all. I also have to rush before it leaks which is frustrating. Please advise. Thank you🙏
I have a problem with itchiness. Like the urine is acidity. Is there a remedy. Why is this happening. Thank you
Severe pain, attacks my back and make my right leg numb. Tried everything and then realised it was the soap, I was using. I am not sure if I can mention the name, but it is one of the big brands. Always make sure what type of soap you use
I’ve been getting UTIs for years and more than an occasional one. I always just went to the doctor I got antibiotics the one I have now I’ve had for like 2 years cuz I haven’t been with the doctor. I however eat cranberry pills everyday vitamin c plus several other multivitamins and probiotics. It’s just not I guess getting into the point where I’m being irritated by it as far as symptoms but I can tell I had I was starting to get one couple years ago. They suck.
I have a home remedy that has worked for me in the past to help it go away without antibiotics.
1. Apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup ( a good shot )
2. Baking soda (a pinch)
Room temperature, mix together. Take shot, follow up with as much water as you can drink comfortably.
3. Water, push as much as you can. Everytime you think about water make a pact to drink some no matter how much. Pee. Pee. Pee..
Take shot every couple of hours if possible, if not, you get the idea. Takes longer than antibiotics but it’s not antibiotics. It’s natural. Repeat until symptoms are gone or at least 2 weeks at the most to be sure.
I so empathise! Struggling with Utis for 5 years. Having to resort to antibiotics now as can’t cope any longer. Have tried many natural remedies but realise my lifestyle also has to change- mo alcohol or sugar, no coffee, and abstaining from physical intimacy until I really get to what’s beneath this. I am dedicating the next 6 months to different natural approaches beyond the usual – d mannose, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, probiotics. Now will also go the route of anti- inflammatory diet, acupuncture, and deep emotional healing. Hoping you find relief and myself too!
Thank you
I will be able to sleep
Vit C really works
Relieved the pain
I have had a UTI now for a month off & on. My Dr. gave me antibiotics & it went away for a while. Then it can back. I had this before back in September & I got injections of Invanz & it cleared it up. But this time that I went to get the injections I had an allergic reaction to Invanz. I don’t understand that! So I had to quit doing the injections. Now my Dr. said she will see what to do next week, (this is Saturday, my birthday). I don’t know what she is going to give me because I’m allergic to so many antibiotics. And the urologist won’t see me till May 9th, because I’m a new patient. I can’t wait that long! Need help! The burning is coming back again. I think I will try some of these natural treatments. I am praying alot & reading my Bible with verses on healing. Because I have been walking in fear of getting sepsis. So if any of u have something that really works let me know!
This morning I woke up and my back was in agony. I felt bloated as well. Had to rush to the bathroom most of the day. I’ve put a heating pad on my back and it’s helped for the pain but I have to pee just about every 5 minutes and then there’s hardly anything coming out. By the time I’m out of the bathroom I have to go again. I’ve massaged my bladder to see if that would work, but also not. I don’t drink a lot of liquids for the exact fear of having to pee throughout the night. I don’t drink coffee very often either. It’s a nightmare. You’re constantly scared of wetting the bed if you don’t jump up quick enough. It also doesn’t burn. It’s a constant tingling sensation
Gary, a detox might help you! There are many so you just need to find one that you’re comfortable with & works for your body, but my personal favorite is the lemon water detox. You’ll have to look up the details on how much for yourself.
(Note if you’re going that route: no need to drink as fast as they typically tell you; just drink as fast as you can, (I typically have mine drank within a half hour & it still works just fine), & remember to lay on your side & massage your abdominal area BOTH sides & relax while you w8 on your body to do it’s thing.)
Some of the symptoms mentioned in the comments may not be U.T.I., but rather constipation because if your colon is backed up that will also make you feel like you have to pee again right after you get through going.
77yo male so sick & tired & scared to death of recurring life-threatening UTIs but still trying to research & use natural herbs & supplements as much as possible!!!!
I don’t have any serious pain after or during urinating..but I experience urine small drops coming not stopping..I always want to visit washrooms.I need help please
So I haven’t necessarily been pissing blood but I blood has come out a few time after I’ve finished taking a piss. It happened twice a couple days ago and twice again today. It does kinda hurt to pee too lowk. What’s strange to me is that it’s not consistent so I don’t know how concerned I should be. I don’t know what I should? Help
Lots of good tips and thanks to Priscilla for the herbal drink recipe I’m determined to beat this,
I have a problem itchiness I was wondering is the secretions so acidic or what’s happening what’s the remedy please ive taken antibiotics but the infections keep coming back for the past 10 years. Please help
I had no symptoms one time, except sore legs at night. Didn’t think anything of it because I was pregnant. Then the pain in my legs continued during the day. The next day, my whole body hurt. Nothing helped ease the pain and the gp had no idea, but requested blood tests, which, because it was too late, would have to be done the next day. Woke the next day with a fever. I had to go to emergency because I was pregnant. That night I was admitted with sepsis, due to UTI and kidney infection.
Basically, I had no symptoms to link with UTI and would have died with sepsis if I wasn’t pregnant
I really thanks to this tips, it really help me and save my life. Once Again thank you so much!!
I have uti problem now and usually cannot empty my bladder there is residual urine always in large quantities left doctor has passed catheter and got dilated my urethra but after sometime it is again narrowed because of constant infection want a remedy for it it’s been 33 years I am suffering wth this
I’m an older female. I’m having some itching then urge to urinate and mild pain while urinating. Urine goes back and forth between dark cloudy to almost clear. Looks and smells better when I take vitamin C and drink more water. Its been happening for about three days or so. I don’t like the way antibiotics make me feel. I’ve had irritation similar but not to this degree.
I am 71 and I am a diabetic and have had UTI’s many times. This time am experiencing lower back pain and pain in my left lower abdomen. Clear urine, no odor and slight burning sensation after urinating . I’m drinking Cranberry Juice and lots of water.
What causes a bitter pain after urinating…it’s bitter like vinegar
Frequent need to urinate m, dark pee and some odor. Burns at the end of the pee and feel like I need to push to release more then nothing comes out. Tingles and hurts too. I don’t like water and have been trying to avoid going to hospital. I had one uti before that ended up me extremely sick throwing up and ended in the hospital. So afraid if I do not find a remedy I will end up that sick again
I’m 67 female had UTI’s before but this one is really different. On 3rd day, take cranberry pills and lots of water and lemon juice. Pain is so bad now I can’t sit I have to lay down. pain while urinating, no odor, no cloudiness in my pee. and a frustrating urge to sit back on the toilet right after I get off because I feel the need to be relieved, and tingling at the end of my peeing. At times, only a little comes out when it feels like I have a full bladder. Be having to rush to the bathroom because it’s almost impossible to hold it on the way.
Male 88 years old very fit I have taken many antibiotics but they don’t work the uti seems to go then returns, all over the last 14 months
I even had a drip in hospital and home hospital over 2 weeks
Still experiencing problems
I had a turp operation 11 years ago and the problems are still happening. I do have scar tissue coming away but can’t get out so it cause’s a blockage
There are periods of no problems but it does come back
I have recurring uti. I have associated it with a connection to my excema outbreaks. This time, I tried a natural remedy and the uti is slowly getting better. I mixed a handful of corriander seeds, a pinch of turmeric, an inch of grated ginger and a few cloves of chopped garlic and boiled it in 4 cups of water, reducing it to 2 on the stove. I cooled it, watered it down and mixed a teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of soda each time, and kept sipping it. I’m glad it worked for me and I didn’t have to take antibiotics like I usually do.
Take cranberry capsules to prevent and if you do get an UTI take it to get relief. Drinking coconut water also provides relief…
I thank you for your advice I have been experiencing alot of pain but some of your advices have helped me relieve the pain and I hope for better results
